Red kidney beans are simmered in an onion/tomato gravy with spices and herbs. Simply delicious!

When okra isn't in season, I have used chopped frozen okra and it tastes just as good as fresh and its less work to cut up.

This dish is so quick to make especially if you are using canned chickpeas. If soaking and cooking your own Ranch Gordo Garbanzo beans, add additional time (30 minutes)
