Dessert — apples RSS

This recipe was recently published in our local Mission Viejo community cookbook.  It is a special childhood recipe that my mom would make. We would eat these for dinner served with warm milk. Doesn’t sound like a dinner meal, but there’s fruit in it and milk !  It was my favorite dinner.

Fall favorite. Use variety of apples for a tart, sweet dessert (Granny Smith, Lucy Rose, Honey Crisp)

This double crust apple pie is sure to please the palate. The crust is to die for when you make it from scratch.
