Ingredients

1 lb lamb chops

1 onion, chopped
-
1 tomato, chopped

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

Pinch of salt

2/3 cups coconut, unsweetened

10 cloves garlic
-
1 inch piece of ginger, chopped

1 piece of cinnamon stick or ¼ tsp. Cinnamon powder

2 cloves
-
½ teaspoon pepper
-
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
-
2/3 cups cilantro leaves
-
2 green chilis
-
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
Masala paste
Directions
Masala paste
Add all the ingredients into a grinder/blender jar and blend to a smooth paste. Add water if needed to grind into a smooth paste.
Other Ingredients
In a medium sized skillet, add 1 T. Oil and then add chopped onion. When onion begins to brown, add chopped tomato. Fry until tomato gets soft.
Add masala paste and fry for 1 minute.
Add lamb chops and onion/masala mixture, turmeric powder and salt to your Instant Pot or pressure cooker. Add about ½ cup water. Close the lid and cook for 20 minutes in your Instant Pot. You can also cook in a Dutch oven for 45 minutes.
