You can purchase preserved lemons at specialty stores or online.  You shouldn’t make this without preserved lemons.

If you don't have a tagine, you can still make this moist chicken recipe in a Dutch Oven. Like the tagine, keeping the lid on the Dutch oven will produce the steam to cook a very moist chicken dish.
