Ingredients

2 T. Neutral oil (canola or grapeseed)

2 T. Cumin seeds (Jeera)

1 bag frozen sweet corn
-
¼ teaspoon chili powder
-
¼ teaspoon turmeric
-
Dash of asafoetida (substitute = a fusion of cumin/coriander powder)

Juice of ½ lemon or more to taste

Salt to taste
Directions
On medium heat in a medium sized pan, add the oil and cumin seeds and cook until fragrant.
Lower the heat to low and add the corn, chili powder, turmeric and asafoetida. Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the corn starts to lightly brown. Squeeze lemon juice and salt to taste.
Ready to serve.
